“Motoremont” is facility for repair, servicing and sale of agricultural machinery and equipment. The very purpose and the meaning of this building’s activity are transposed into its function, design and appearance.  Uninterrupted existence of this industry through times unites tradition and modernity and shows its necessity in the future of regional agriculture, technological advances and new achievements. The whole building is designed in contemporary architectural expression which is, in this case, achieved by use of both, traditional and contemporary principles. The most of the building’s exterior is a brick facade which symbolizes tradition and local craftsmanship. On the other side, the use of steel and glass in building’s appearance and structure allows creation of contemporary, large and spacious working areas. The front facade is slanted glass surface “interrupted” with noticeable entrance canopy. All of these architectural elements together invite clients and visitors, accenting the openness and quality of this facility.

Designed to express contemporary spirit, this project pushes the limits of a local architectural expression in order to become a part of European contemporary architecture. With the use of high quality materials and technical solutions, as well as traditional elements and local products, design team advocates progress, preservation of traditional values and harmonious family life.

Conceptual design of row houses.

Design area covers the entire block “Cvetni Trg” (Flower Square), near present-day “Kralja Milana” (King Milan) Street in the central area of Belgrade.
Whole area is conceived as a group of both, built areas-cultural structures and open spaces-newly formed piazzas and internal streets. This way, whole block symbolizes City of Belgrade – the City that embraces several civilizations and two rivers. The group of buildings and structures includes variety of cultural facilities such as: museum, open stage, exhibition galleries and art academy.
This project was awarded by eminent Borba Award for the best student design in the year 1994.

Office tower with its complex architecture and demanding structural system, represents a high-tech personification of the symbol of Belgrade – the sculpture of the knight or the guardian of the City of Belgrade, sculpted by Ivan Mestrovic. 55 floors high “The Guardian of the City” is located on the city’s main entrance.

Conceptual design of a family villa located in Sremski Karlovci, Serbia.

Project of cultural center is located on the remaining pillars of the former railway bridge across Danube River in Novi Sad. The structure is overlooking XVII century Petrovaradin fortress. The bridge was destroyed in WWII.
Cultural center is designed as transparent and dynamic form, unobtrusive yet very distinctive in natural scenery and panoramic views.
This is Graduation project carried out on the Faculty of Architecture, University of  Belgrade, Serbia.

This is a project for Franklin Delano Roosevelt tourist and cultural center located in the house complex of former U.S. president. Building is planned to be located next to the president’s home overlooking Hudson River and New York’s Hyde Park. Project was accomplished as part of the Master of Architecture program at the College of Architecture, Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and in collaboration with architect Frances Halsband whose New York City based office, led designing and construction of the center.
