This design, in its all aspects, is a result of extensive analysis of the strict requirements for food processing and food serving facilities. Priority in designing of these objects was successful resolution of all functional and hygiene issues to comply with all European standards in food processing and food serving industry. Motif of continuous and strictly organized production processes inside of the main building is repeated on the facade as a continuous/endless stripe, without sharp turns and patterned in the strict order. This way, central building is designed as elongated, cube-shaped, smooth form with rounded corners resembling uninterrupted functional process inside: preparation of 20.000 meals for preschool children per day in all kindergartens „Radosno Detinjstvo“. Façade with patterned rhythm of colored shapes is created with use of bricks in two colors. Brick is typical and recognizable local material in Vojvodina region and its layout metaphorically emphasizes local crafts as well as the continuity of a very important process for the city and essential to its citizens.

Design executed for Euro Gardi Group, Novi Sad, Serbia, www.eurogardigroup.com

Competition entry for the preliminary design of this complex is consisting of Archives building and commercial office building situated on 1,1 hectares site in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. Total area of complex is 25.200 square meters and it would be built in two phases. First phase would include construction of 8.000 square meters Archives building, while second phase would be construction of the commercial center on the remaining area of 17.200 square meters.
Design proposal successfully addresses several key aspects of location and complex formation. On the basis of architectural analysis, proposed solution overcomes high level of ground waters present on site by placing the complex on a basis elevated from the street level. New pedestrian and traffic corridors are created on street level and inside the complex, forming places of gathering and accentuating further connection with Danube River. Urban concept represents single urban block. On the street facing façade of the block character of design is rigid with plain and filled cube-shaped surfaces, while inner façade is porous and adjusted to phase development. Formed from two separate buildings, complex leaves an impression of wholeness and integrated ambient. Each development phase creates new landscape and ambient character on site. Building façades are fulfilling two roles according to development in phases, while use of materials and designed elements in both interior and exterior continuously remind us on the importance of existence of Archives in society.

Conceptual architectural design of new 2.500 sqm branch office for Delta Generali Insurance Company located on prominent business avenue in Novi Sad City– „Bulevar Oslobodjenja”. This project proposes structure that will represent new urban landmark of Novi Sad.
Architectural massing and construction derived from client’s functional requests, all together resulted in distinct visual form proposed by design – exposed but secure concrete cube. This cubical form is “interrupted” with rhythm of vertical, glass stripes. That way, verticality and the height of a structure are emphasized. These two main façade materials metaphorically represent both reliability-stability of company’s business and transparency of its endeavors. The ground floor is designed as completely transparent, made of glass panels which, in contrast to upper floors’ facade, clearly separate public (transparent) space in the ground floor from office space on the upper floors.
Project proposes use of advanced lightning in form of LED technology applied as advertisement panels as well as automatic underground parking garage.

General Hospital in Vrbas opened in 1992 and was intended as a first phase of construction of specialized hospital facilities with capacity of 240 inpatient beds.
Architectural-technological design of the second phase of construction of General Hospital in Vrbas, Serbia, presents: the construction of the new hospital complex as an addition to the existing hospital and a functional connection of the new and existing structures. In order to reach the best design solution, the following analytic areas are considered: a) technology/function, b) architecture/structure, c) materials, d) installations.
New, designed structure is located at the southern side of existing hospital complex and is consisted of two sectors. First sector is building F – Stationary Healthcare that extends hospital’s capacity with additional 245 inpatient beds. Second sector is building E which functions as an emergency department. Area of both sectors’ is 12.200 sqm. With newly designed stationary care, technical and administrative departments, hospital operations will be complete. In addition, new center for emergency department, new internist department and surgical department with two new operating rooms, surgical intensive care and department for elective observations are also planned.
Architectural design, together with designed constructive system is determined with both, new functional disposition of the addition and existing building complex. At the same time, this design introduces contemporary expression and simplicity in forming masses, functions and finishes of the whole addition.
This design incorporates new technologies and technological organization, contemporary architecture and planning and use of high quality local building materials. Successful solution of this complex design task results in: optimal functioning of the entire hospital complex and a new visual identity of the location.

location: Danube River, Novi Sad, Serbia
author: Nemanja Radusinovic, M.Arch.

This project presents a contemporary architectural approach to the theme of family weekend houses. Located at the bank of Danube river, this summer house is designed for contemporary young family with a full emphasis on the family gathering, relaxation and pleasant stay in the natural environment of the Danube. All architectural elements of the house are designed of all natural materials thus having no impact on the environment. By the use of materials, this house is complementary to surrounding nature. On the other hand, design of cubical form with flat wooden surfaces and “sharp” edges is contrasted to the soft natural surroundings.
Large window openings on the front façade enable constant view to the Danube River and introduce a light and nature into the object. Besides fixed wooden façade panels, the rest of the facade is a consisted of sliding wooden panels, that are enclosing dwelling while not in use.
