High school “Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj” is built at the beginning of 18th century and it is located in central, attractive area of Novi Sad City. For the purpose of obtaining a new multifunctional space, the existing roof dome structure was reconstructed and a new glass dome was formed. The new dome design is founded in traditional architecture of this region but is interpreted to present contemporary architectural expression.
To reach this space, new staircase made of corrugated steel sheeting is designed. It connects existing museum spaces with newly designed exhibition gallery.
